What the extension stores

The extension stores receipt details you enter, imported statement rows, mapping choices, dismissed suggestions, approval decisions, and license state in your browser profile using Chrome local storage. Receipt details may include merchant, amount, currency, purchase date, receipt URL, and your note.

This data stays on your device unless you deliberately export a CSV, manifest, or library backup. Browser sync is not requested.

What we do not collect

• We do not ask for bank credentials or connect to bank accounts.
• We do not upload statement CSVs, receipt records, browsing history, or exports.
• We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts.
• We do not inspect pages automatically; the current tab is read only after you open the extension.

License checks and checkout

If you paste or receive a paid license, the site and extension send that token to the Sociobot billing API to verify whether it is valid. Verification is cached for up to one day. We do not send your receipt or statement data with that request.

Checkout is hosted by Sociobot, with Dodo as merchant of record. Their checkout privacy terms govern the payment details they collect. Receipt Statement Linker never receives card details.

Control and deletion

Delete individual receipts or clear an imported statement in the workbench. Removing the extension or clearing its site data removes its local records. Export before doing so if you want a copy. Clearing this website's storage removes its cached license token but does not cancel or refund a purchase.

Permissions

Active tab prefills the URL and title of the page where you open the toolbar popup. Storage retains your local workspace. Downloads lets you save exports and backups you request. The extension has no broad website access.

Contact and changes

Questions or privacy requests can be opened in the product's public issue tracker. Material changes will be dated on this page. We will not quietly expand collection beyond this local-first purpose.
